Students will also gain hands-on experience with advanced teaching technologies at SEMO’s EDvolution Center and learn about student organizations that support aspiring teachers.
The event aims to introduce students to SEMO's strong community and supportive resources for education majors. With a five-year initial accreditation from the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP), SEMO reaffirms its dedication to preparing future educators to make a significant impact in education.
As teacher shortages continue to affect the education system both regionally and nationwide, Future Teachers’ Day plays a critical role in inspiring the next generation of educators. By welcoming over 200 high school students to its campus, SEMO is committed to addressing the pressing need for qualified teachers in Missouri and beyond.
