Lawrence Drama Teacher Receives Lied Center IMPACT Award

Recognition for Excellence in Arts Education

The Lied Center announced Averill Neuteboom's award in a news release, highlighting her significant impact on the next generation of performers in Lawrence. She teaches creative arts, speech, and drama at Southwest Middle School and collaborates with community programs, such as the Lied Center's 3rd Grade Theatre Arts Day and the Lawrence Arts Center's Summer Youth Theatre.
